Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Gaining an understanding of the client and their company, then performing sampling and testing of their ledgers and then consolidating for different sections of the audit

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was able to go to company sites and have meetings with the clients directly, as well as complete entire sections of the audit with background supervision.

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I thoroughly enjoyed the placement, with the range of tasks I was able to do and the amount I was able to learn by doing the work. It was a great experience of what I should come to expect in the future of pursuing my career path
