Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
As Project Manager, International Medical Operations, I lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of international medical initiatives, including governance-led programs, awards frameworks, and cross-country forums. I work closely with senior medical leadership, country and cluster teams, and global partners to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, compliantly, and with clear medical impact.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I enjoyed my programme to a great extent. It was highly relevant to my role and allowed me to immediately apply learning in a real‑world, international context. I particularly valued the structured development of leadership, strategic thinking, and project management skills, as this has strengthened both my confidence and effectiveness at work. The balance between academic learning and practical application kept me engaged and motivated, and I can clearly see the impact the programme had on my professional growth.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Yes, I learnt new skills and further developed existing ones. The programme strengthened my strategic thinking, leadership capability, and structured project management approach, while also enhancing my confidence in stakeholder engagement and decision‑making. I also developed stronger reflective and analytical skills, enabling me to apply learning more effectively to complex, real‑world challenges within my role.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
The programme was well organised and clearly structured. Learning objectives, timelines, and expectations were clearly set, which helped me manage my workload effectively alongside my role. The structure supported a logical progression of learning, with opportunities to apply concepts in practice, and overall this made the programme easy to follow and engaging.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I received a great deal of support from my employer throughout the programme. This included encouragement to prioritise learning, flexibility to balance study with work responsibilities, and ongoing support from my manager and colleagues. The strong level of employer engagement made it easier to apply learning in practice and contributed significantly to the overall success of the programme.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
I received a high level of support from my training provider while working towards my qualifications. Support was readily available when needed, with clear guidance, regular check‑ins, and timely feedback that helped me stay on track. This strong level of support made the learning process manageable and ensured I was able to progress confidently through the programme.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
The qualification supported me very well in performing better in my role. The learning was directly relevant and strengthened my ability to think strategically, manage complex projects, and engage confidently with senior stakeholders. Applying the concepts in real time improved my decision‑making, structure, and overall effectiveness, allowing me to add greater value in my role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Yes, there are extra‑curricular activities available at work; however, as I work remotely, not all of these are applicable or accessible to me. I am still able to engage in professional networking events and virtual initiatives that supported connection and development beyond my core role.
