My overall role as an apprentice working for technical services Birmingham team is to assist with engineers in a variety of tasks from planned maintenance to reactive jobs. As I work with multiple engineers across the team I get a wide varied type of works from fabric jobs carpentry based to plumbing jobs to ac filtrations systems this can and sometimes some electrical works too.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I am enjoying my apprentice when I started I was welcomed into the team and since then have been looked after well and have learnt a lot from engineers showing me a lot on site and teaching me things I did not know before to my supervisor who always shows great support and care all round if that’s works on site or admin roles for example coupa

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have definitely learnt a lot since working here from improving my knowledge on buildings and how all the things works behind the scenes for example heating system and also improving my skills with various amounts of tools

It is very well structured if I am unsure of anything I can email my supervisor which he will come back with useful helpful info about the problem at hand
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer shows a great amount of support to making sure I have everything I need to stay safe and learning an example of this was making sure I had all the correct ppe to stay safe when on site working
