Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
Over the course of the programme, I developed a strong foundation in data analysis, including working with Excel, Power BI, and data storytelling techniques. What made the experience particularly impactful was the ability to apply these skills directly to my role — moving beyond theory to real business use cases.
One of the key highlights was building dashboards and analysing datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that could support decision-making. This has allowed me to shift from a purely execution-focused role into one where I can bring more strategic, data-driven insights to stakeholders.
The apprenticeship also strengthened my ability to structure problems, clean and manipulate data, and present findings in a clear and meaningful way. I particularly valued learning how to translate complex data into simple, actionable insights for non-technical audiences.
Beyond the technical skills, the programme reinforced the importance of curiosity, continuous learning, and critical thinking when working with data. It has increased my confidence in using data to challenge assumptions and support better business outcomes.
Overall, the apprenticeship has been a significant step in my development, enabling me to combine my experience in Talent Acquisition with data and analytics capabilities — and positioning me to contribute more effectively to strategic decision-making within the business.
