Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
Over time, I’ve strengthened my core UX skills such as user research, wireframing, and prototyping. I’ve become more confident in selecting appropriate research methods, synthesising insights, and turning them into actionable design decisions.
I’ve also developed my skills in usability testing—planning sessions, moderating them, and analysing results to improve the overall user experience.
In addition, I’ve learned new tools and expanded my technical understanding. For example, I’ve improved my proficiency in design tools like Figma and gained a better understanding of front-end constraints, which helps me collaborate more effectively with developers.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?
How much support do you receive from your employer?
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
These include social events that help build team relationships, such as team outings, informal gatherings, and company-wide celebrations. There are also opportunities to get involved in professional activities like design talks, workshops, and networking events, which are particularly valuable for staying up to date with industry trends and learning from others.
