Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
- Assisted with coordinating subcontractors and ensuring work was completed on schedule
- Carried out regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work
- Ensured health and safety procedures were followed at all times on site
- Helped maintain site documentation, including reports, checklists, and records
- Communicated with tradespeople, suppliers, and management to keep work progressing smoothly
- Assisted in resolving on-site issues and maintaining an efficient workflow
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
- The structure of attending university one day a week alongside full-time work has worked well over the five years
- I have received good support from the apprenticeship team within the company
- The company has provided great opportunities for additional training and development
- Overall, the programme has been a positive experience and has supported both my academic and professional growth

- Improved my communication skills by working with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams
