Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
MCFT is a very welcoming company with a sole focus on training there technicians to be the best in the industry. we get to spend time hands-on within multiple different sites throughout a regular week. we also get the opportunity to stay away from home for a week every 8 weeks in reading for some in classroom training in a very new state of the art technical academy ran and owned by MCFT.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I love working with different people on a daily basis and everyday is different to the last which keeps attentiveness high.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
i have learnt some good time management skills due to the possibility of an early start but also the company allows you to 'plan your own day' which gives you the flexibility but also pushes you to work allot as you get paid from the more hours that you do.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
The program has a structure however i do believe there is room for improvement, this is aided by the company as they ask us on a regular basis for our opinions and any feedback on the process so that they can go away and make tweaks. By doing this it makes me feel valued by the company.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
we have a weekly lesson with a member of the support and development team which gives us a chance to discuss as a group how we are feeling and finding everything, on top of that we also have the opportunity to be sat 1 on 1 in the matter is of a personal nature. Finally we also have access to health shield for any physical health issues that may occur.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
if we ever have any worries or issues there is a dedicated group of people across the business we can go to for help or advice
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
we receive a very high standard or training from people who have been in the field themselves meaning we do not only learn what we need to pass the course but we find out tips and information that will make our job and progression much easier in the field. MFCT are also the only company in the industry to offer a apprenticeship fully off there own back meaning they don't outsource there training its all done by the company. This benefits us as we get full attention to us compared possibly to a college with thousands of students.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
We always receive emails from people across the company announcing company events activities or clubs that are on offer, these are all inclusive.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend MCFT to a friend?
Yes
Why?
I’d recommend MCFT as a company to work for because, from my own experience working here, it’s a solid and reliable place with a supportive team and approachable management. The work is engaging and there are good opportunities to learn and develop new skills, which makes it a great environment for growth. The company also values its employees, whether that’s through fair treatment, stability, or simply creating a positive day-to-day atmosphere. Overall, it’s somewhere I’ve felt comfortable staying, which is why I’d confidently suggest it to others looking for a dependable and worthwhile place to work.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to MCFT?
I’d say it’s important to come across as reliable, willing to learn, and easy to work with, as those qualities really matter in the day-to-day environment. Showing a strong work ethic and a positive attitude will go a long way, as the company values people who can be trusted to get the job done and fit well within the team. It also helps to have a basic understanding of the role you’re applying for and to be open to developing your skills further, as there are opportunities to grow if you put the effort in. Overall, just be genuine, show that you’re motivated, and demonstrate that you’d be a good team player.
