Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
I mainly do the preparation of private individuals' tax returns but always get the chance to try new things.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
Very much so, I have a great team and enjoy the work I do. I feel very supported in the role and feel I get the chance to make a difference.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I feel I have developed in many areas from expanding my technical expertise in the role or even feeling more confident in connecting with people.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
I have a clear plan for my exams and they give a sufficient amount of study leave for me to complete the exams. Especially at the start where I was required to do my ATT Foundation in which they gave me 16 days of study leave.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
I feel very supported, there is some good benefits you can apply to based on wellness, healthcare and entertainment.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
As mentioned I feel there is a lot of support and time given to help get through exams. Since there are many other apprentices I am always offered support by people that are going through or have just been through the process.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
I haven't started my proper exams yet but even the ATT Foundation helped loads when transferring that learning into everyday work. I learn most things by doing the actual job at the moment though. I am sure when I start to do the higher level qualifications it will help loads with the more technical bits.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
I have managed to attend many socials/event. I've been to multiple networking events both internal and external in which the firm have provided invites for. I join the 5 a side football most weeks and have also joined in with an office sports day aswell as a golf day. Recently we also joined this charity event called Business Fives where firms across Birmingham all competed in a 5-a-side tournament.
