5/5
Training and gaining qualifications to be an Outdoor Instructor, along with learning about other roles within the industry and specifically within a busy activity centre.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
The programme was varied and rewarding. New and diverse skills within different activities were learnt, practiced and ultimately tested throughout the programme.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I learnt many new skills in outdoor activities. Including skiing, caving, archery, climbing, bushcraft.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
The programme was organised and structured. Some activities are weather dependant so some last minute changes are inevitable.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
Support was provided from all involved at the Centre. Specifically from the dedicated mentor and apprentice manager, but also from the qualified instructors and other staff at the centre.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
Constantly supported throughout the programme.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
The apprenticeship qualification sits alongside the NGB qualifications gained through the apprenticeship that together provide the ability to perform in the role.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
Team days away from the centre are included within the cycle of the business. And the nature of the business means there will always be someone to join you in extra-curricular activities.
