Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Each day is different. I will have days where I'll be instructing air rifle, axe throwing, archury, orinteering, skiing, paddling and more. That's one of the best parts of the apprenticeship is each day is different. You'll be put with different groups all with different experience and you get to grow with that group.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I think the programme is incredible. I grow so much as an indiviual lean't skills I never thought I'd be capable off and found a new confidence that I would never of found without this opportunity.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Yes! In the space of six month I've gained multiply qualification and learn't how to be able to instruct people skiing.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Extremely structured. We have a month diary which tells us what's coming up and the structure of the day.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

If I'm ever unsure or I feel I need to ask a question there's always someone to turn to who takes the time to listen and explain.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

A huge amount of support and feel extremely supported in all areas of the job.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I can not do my job without the qualification the qualications are everything.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes! We have lots of CPD opptunities where you can improve your skills and improve you ability with whatever area you're instructing. We have social events where the team catches up on the day and can talk through any issues they may be facing.

Would you recommend MENDIP ACTIVITY CENTRE to a friend?
Yes
Why?
I don't think I can think of any other company like it. In the space of a year you will learn and achieved over 20+ qualifications some of which are nationally and internationally recognised. The team are so supportive and your confidence will build through the journey of you becoming a Level 3 Outdoor Instructor.
