This apprenticeship has provided me the opportunity to learn and develop a variety of new skills and qualifications. Mendip has also allowed for consolidation time between learning skills and undertaking assessments, to ensure staff are fully confident and competent.

Why?
Very supportive employee community. Mendip support and encourage personal progression in over 20 activities. Qualifications are generally by nationally or internationally recognised awarding bodies. Many opportunities for continuous professional development (cpd) in activities provided by Mendip. Mendip is a positive and supportive place to work. No two days are the same, every week is varied in what activities you may be instructing. It is a busy and exciting place to work.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to MENDIP ACTIVITY CENTRE?
Really make your cv and cover letter stand out. It is a very competitive job but so rewarding. Do not worry if you have never tried any of the activities advertised, Mendip will support you through the learning process. If you are invited to the interview, fully immerse yourself in the activities and just enjoy it!
