My role day on a day to day basis would include updating the project tracker, engaging with stakeholders, communicating with clients, writing up documents and reports for client approval and also speaking with contractors, scheduling works ect.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I have really enjoyed the programme so far. The materials that are provided are very informative and the tutors which work for the programme are so helpful.

I have learnt how to plan projects, manage tasks, communicate with different teams and keep track of progress. I’ve also improved my confidence, and problem‑solving skills.

I receive really good support and help, which has helped my understanding when I first started the apprenticeship.

Being able to learn on the job is great, what I am learning through my training provider I am able to apply it to my everyday role, which is helping me exceed.

Why?
I would recommend this company because the team culture is welcoming and collaborative. Everyone is willing to help, and you never feel like you’re on your own. It’s a workplace where the support, training and overall experience have been really positive.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Mitie?
I would say go for it, Mitie is a great company and I am so happy I have the opportunity to begin my career in project management at such a large company with endless opportunities due to its scale.
