Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend BBC to a friend?
Yes
Why?
I’d recommend the BBC to a friend because it’s a genuinely supportive place to work, with a big focus on development and helping people grow in their careers. The culture feels collaborative and welcoming, and you get the chance to work with people who are passionate about what they do. There’s also a huge range of projects going on across the organisation, so you’re constantly learning and exposed to new opportunities. On top of that, the BBC has a strong sense of purpose and impact, which makes the work feel meaningful. Overall, it’s a great environment if you want to build skills, be creative, and be part of something that reaches millions of people.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BBC?
I’d tell them to research the role, be clear about why they want it, and show their enthusiasm. Be yourself, highlight your strengths, and don’t be afraid to ask questions as it shows you’re genuinely interested.
