Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
As a schedular, I am similar to a specialised HR team for a specific show and it's assigned members of staff. I work closely with Senior Editors and Business management, creating the daily rota for everyone that is required to work that day in order for the show to be recreate. It involves a lot of forward planning and quick problem solving for example if someone calls in sick for the day I need to find a replacement immediately which can be challenging if a large proportion are on annual leave or having o work within individuals contracted hours and to stay compliment to contract and employment laws.
