Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
As a Multi‑Channel Marketer at the BBC, I help plan, create, and deliver marketing campaigns across a wide range of platforms to promote BBC content and engage diverse audiences. My role involves working closely with creative, digital, and editorial teams to ensure that every campaign is aligned with the BBC’s brand, values, and strategic goals.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I really love this apprenticeship as it has allowed me to gain hands on experience and work towards a final grade. The people here have been really supportive and has helped with my confidence and people skills.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I’ve gained experience coordinating with creative, editorial and production teams, managing workflows, and ensuring brand consistency across all content. Alongside this, I’ve built confidence in communication, organisation and working to deadlines, while developing practical knowledge of marketing tools, analytics dashboards and BBC brand and editorial guidelines.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
I would say it could be a little more organised. I feel as though some of my assignments haven't aligned with the work that i do at the BBC, therefor making it hard to get experience.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
My employer is super supportive but because she is busy with work this can sometimes make things hard.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
We have a call once a month to discuss my progress. I don't feel as though this is enough as there have been times ive really wanted to discuss things with my employer but they use slack as a form of communicating. I dont find this very helpful as it can be irritating to go back and forth over message.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
I feel as though the modules and assignments i do help me get a better understanding of the things i do in my day to day.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
I go to networking events.
