Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role at the minute involves learning and listening from senior project leaders to gain a deep understanding of the fundamentals of project management. I have been involved in some really interesting projects in which stakeholder management and communication is key. I am thoroughly enjoying my role here at the BBC and learning from my team.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I very much enjoy my programme! It is an incredibly exciting place to work and the BBC's commitment to talent development has made me really excited about my future. The people are incredible and I have learnt a lot since I started last year.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt many sills since starting this apprenticeship including developing my stakeholder management skills and building strong relationships with the people I work with. I have also learnt many computer based skills on platforms such as Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project and Word.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
My programme is structured incredibly well. I have always had support from colleagues and managers surrounding the work that I do at university and making sure that I get practical, hands-on experience on placement too. I couldn't recommend enough.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer is extremely attentive to the development of my skills. I have always received amazing support from my manager whether that's from helping me develop my skills or explaining something to me that I haven't quite grasped yet.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I receive a lot of support in terms of online learning and revision guides. My tutors ensure that I am aware of all the resources that are available to me to help me succeed in my degree.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It gives me more of an academic understanding of the way things work and why. It helps me to put pen to paper in my role here at the BBC which not only gives me more confidence but helps me to understand a bit more about my role itself.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are many of these. Most of these are held by The Apprentice Community here at the BBC, where social events are held inside and outside of the office. There are also many networking events that I have attended whilst working here, which have opened up a whole new set of opportunities for me in my role.

It is an incredible place to work. The people are amazing and there are so many opportunities to get involved in some really exciting things.

Be yourself. Do not change the way you are to fit what you think the BBC is looking for.
