Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
Everyday involved a few general talks and then a deeper insight into one area of the business which was accompanied by a workshop. During these workshops we constructed and then presented on what we had learnt in previous talks
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
It was really useful as it allowed to envisage which areas I might be interested in applying for in the future and where I see my career path taking me. It also made me feel more comfortable talking about the business and the financial sector in general

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Really positive. All the employees had good things to say about their experiences at the bank, especially people who had previously been at other institutions

To what extent did you enjoy the insight?
I really enjoyed it. Having done a couple of other insights, Fidelity really stood out for the intimate nature of it, how much focus they put on the interns and all the practical activites

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Fidelity International
It is important to try and gain as much experience as possible and Fidelity can offer a really comprehensive overview of asset management so it is definitely worth applying. Also, don't be afraid of the environment, culture or work because they don't expect you to know everything
