Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

As an LIO analyst apprentice I sit in the LDPM team which focus on Annuities, my day to day can vary depending as there is a lot of learning to capture during due to the expertise of the role. This can be bulk purchase annuities, new initiatives, MI, collateral and more.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

The hands on learning is very intriguing and unique, a lot of topics that are new to me and that I've never heard of. I think the apprenticeship course e.g exam and projects can be interesting but does take up time.

-Opertional processes such as cashflow, asset data structure and lookup logic

How well organised/structured is your programme?

In the team what they expect from me and how organised we are is very important and would say overall is well structured. As for the apprentice side this is where I would say it would lack a bit.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Support from the team and employer is constant and helpful
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Have calls every 4-6 weeks switching between individual and with your line manager. They are supportive when needed but wish there was a bit more initiative on how they can help you.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Online course is very helpful wish, however faced multiple issues with getting equipment or timings
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
