Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
As an Analytics Developer, I design and develop dashboards to aid decision making for business teams and work with various teams to understand their requirements and implement these changes to the dashboards. I help manage and improve the analytics processes and develop solutions for our stakeholders. On a day-to-day basis I start by working out what I need to achieve in the day what project I need to move forward and how much time to dedicate to it , along side this I also attend meetings to progress ongoing projects and reply to emails that need actioning.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I enjoy my programme a lot since every day brings something new to learn, and I appreciate how the content in my apprenticeship and my work tasks challenges me to grow both technically and personally. It’s genuinely fun to come in knowing that I’ll leave with new skills or insights I didn’t have the day before. One of the best parts is the people I get to meet, I'm surrounded by individuals from all different walks of life, yet we all share a common interest in technology.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I’ve developed both my soft and hard skills throughout my programme. My confidence has grown massively, especially through presenting projects and visiting schools to talk about apprenticeships, which has strengthened my public‑speaking and communication skills. At the same time, I’ve continued to build my technical abilities through hands‑on work and training, becoming more independent and analytical in my approach. Overall, I’ve seen real progress in both my personal and professional development.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
My programme is very well organised and structured, which makes it easy to understand what I’m working toward at each stage. There’s a good balance between training, hands‑on work, and opportunities to apply what I’ve learned in real situations. The progression is clear, support is always available from either our apprenticeship lead or even from the team at BPP which is where we work towards our qualification, and each part of the programme builds on the last, so I always feel like I’m developing in a structured and purposeful way.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I receive a strong level of support from my employer. My manager and team are always available to guide me, answer questions, and help me develop both my technical and professional skills. I’m given regular feedback, opportunities to learn, and the space to grow at my own pace. Whether it’s through training or check‑ins, I always feel supported and encouraged throughout my day
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
I receive a good amount of support from BPP, my training provider, when working towards my qualifications. They give clear guidance on what I need to complete, offer helpful resources, and are always available if I need clarification or extra help. Regular check‑ins with my coach and feedback sessions make it easy to stay on track.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
My qualification has helped me perform better in my role, especially as I’m learning Python as part of it. The concepts and techniques I’m being taught directly support the kind of work I’ll be doing, and soon I’ll be able to use the same Python skills to create scripts and create analysis for projects. It’s motivating to see how what I’m learning in my training links so closely with my day‑to‑day responsibilities and future development.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
Yes, there are lots of extra‑curricular activities to get involved in at work. There are regular social events where apprentices and colleagues can meet, network, and get to know each other outside of day‑to‑day tasks. We also get chances to attend professional networking sessions, volunteering events, and outreach activities like going into schools to speak about apprenticeships. These opportunities make the workplace feel more connected and give me a chance to build relationships, confidence, and wider professional skills.
