Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
My job role involves filling out our breach reports and getting in contact with people across the business to investigate these breaches. I also work closely with the EIR team to ensure that the EIR log is kept up to date. I regularly check compliance across the business and work with other teams to ensure DP training is being sent out.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I enjoy the corporate life, getting on-the-job training, and learning. I also enjoy my college days, learning independently, and linking that to some of the work I have done previously.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have learned how to communicate in a corporate environment. I have also become more confident in myself and public speaking. I have learnt time management and how to plan my work day out.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
I get a large amount of support from my colleague and team hwowver college doesn't have regular check-ins and is very independent work.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
They always give me work that's linked to my college course. They also offer any help they can if I'm stuck or need a deeper understanding of a certain topic.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
We have a call every month and abit but it's just to check in and see how I feel - the work is very independent, and I don't get taught anything - it's pretty much self-taught
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
I learn all the laws and how breaches should be completed and how breach reports should be filled out correctly. It gives me the foundation knowledge of how my job should be carried out.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
Ive been to one networking event via college. I also do a lot of apprentice activities with work and other apprentices across the business
