Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
I work with stakeholders within my organisation to identify skills needs, design and support effective learning solutions, and improve workforce capability. My role blends consultancy, guidance, and collaboration, helping individuals, teams, and colleagues develop the skills they need to perform, progress, and adapt, while aligning learning activity with organisational and strategic goals.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I have really enjoyed my apprenticeship, as it has pushed me to step out of my comfort zone and challenge myself. It has given me the opportunity to get involved in a range of projects that support my organisation beyond my normal role. The skills I have learned and put into practice have also helped me develop how I work day to day, meaning the work I do now has a much greater impact. This gives me a real sense of satisfaction, both personally and collectively.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
New skills I have developed during my apprenticeship include,
Project involvement and delivery - I have developed my ability to contribute to and support projects outside of my usual role, giving me a better understanding of wider organisational priorities and how my work fits into the bigger picture.
Consultative working – I am more confident in engaging with a range of stakeholders, identifying needs, and providing tailored support rather than taking a one‑size‑fits‑all approach.
Reflective practice – I have learned to reflect on my own performance, identify areas for improvement, and use this reflection to enhance how I work on a day‑to‑day basis.
Adaptability and confidence in change – Stepping outside my comfort zone has strengthened my ability to adapt to new challenges, take initiative, and respond positively to change.
Impact‑focused thinking – I now think more critically about the impact of my work, ensuring that what I deliver adds value both individually and organisationally.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
The apprenticeship has been structured extremely well. The balance between learning theory through webinars and assignments, followed by the time and space to put those skills into practice, has been ideal. This structure has allowed me to apply what I have learned while also giving me time to reflect on my learning journey.
One of the biggest benefits for me has been the pace of the learning. I have never felt rushed and have been given the time and space I need to fully understand and embed my learning, while still working towards clear and relevant deadlines. This has helped me maintain steady progress and complete my qualification within the expected timeframe.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
Without the support of my employer, TSB, my manager, and my team, I would not have been able to complete my apprenticeship.
My employer has not only given me the opportunity to achieve this valuable qualification, but has also allowed me dedicated study time during working hours to complete it.
My manager has been extremely supportive and flexible, enabling me to study in line with the programme requirements. He has also worked closely with my coach and helped create opportunities within the organisation for me to put my skills into practice, while providing regular coaching and constructive feedback to support my development.
My team have also played a key role by taking on my responsibilities at times to help free up time for my studies when needed. They have consistently offered support, coaching, and feedback, which has been invaluable in helping me improve and develop my skills.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
The training provider has been a fantastic support throughout my apprenticeship and helping me towards completing my qualifications.
The webinars for each module are engaging, informative, and educational, and they have given me the confidence to independently complete my research and successfully pass all of my assignments to date.
I have regular calls with my coach, Yashmita, who is extremely supportive, not only by providing help and guidance with the apprenticeship, but also by supporting my personal wellbeing.
The learning hub clearly tracks all the work I have completed and what still needs to be done, including deadlines. It also provides a wide range of additional learning content and information designed to support me throughout my apprenticeship.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
The skills I have developed through my apprenticeship have helped me become more confident, proactive, and effective in my role. I now take greater ownership of my work, communicate more confidently with others, and focus on delivering outcomes that add real value. Reflecting on my practice has improved how I work day to day, enabling me to manage my time better, work more efficiently, and have a greater overall impact.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
During my apprenticeship, I have worked with a variety of new colleagues, which has allowed me to build strong professional networks. This has helped me develop new skills, gain additional support, and connect with others who share similar interests, both within and outside of work.
