Yes, my line manager always ensures to get me involved in a variety of tasks beyond the day to day responsibilities, which have expanded my repertoire of horticulture practical skills under my belt.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is well structured with quarterly reviews with the apprenticeship team, monthly one to ones with my line manager, and support from my training provider.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

From my employer, I receive support in terms of monthly 121s, quarterly reviews, apprenticeship development team providing support on queries, and an networking and upskilling event for all multi-disciplinary apprentices (Apprenticeship Unwrapped).
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training provider provides bi weekly training sessions on knowledge and skills towards the qualification criteria, in person visits for further training, quarterly reviews and organises opportunities to upskill on additional qualifications that would benefit my professional development.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Each module covers topics and the underlying theory and skills that I can apply into my workplace. Could be improved with more technical depth.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Plenty of employee resource networks to join, dedicated charity days and charity events. I was recently invited by the Apprenticeship Development team to be part of filming for a corporate professional video on a new apprenticeship initiative, which was showcased at a head office networking event with the CEO present.
