Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
My role is to support the team on an ongoing project. As an intern, my qualifications at some issues are meagre such that I am observing the conduct of several processes. However, I am doing continuous desktop research, bringing forth scoring ideas and create deliverables as powerpoint slides, excel sheets etc.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I feel like there was a perfect balance; I had free times in which I could use Visa University to improve myself not only in payment industry but also in other sectors and skills. But I was also given important responsibilities in a sense that I did not feel like I am aliened as an intern. I was also informed about each step and was always expected to deliver improving ideas whenever necessary.

I am learning microsoft excel even better but apart from that, I am strongly developing myself on the customer relationship and deliverable production issues.

I could reach my buddy and manager anytime I needed but furthermore, they were also continuously checking on me to motivate me to ask questions about anything; also apart from my internship.

Company Culture
What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Everyone was always welcoming to answer any question I had. Though they are working in limited schedules, they always tried to create several minutes for me. In the second day of my internship in the office, I felt like it was my second week :)
Everyone is in rush but there is not an atmosphere full of stress. It seems like everyone is happy and satisfied with what they are doing

What advice would you give to others applying to Visa
They should never feel like it is hard to be a part of this family. Though some expectations are set, everyone is happy to create development on each others performance. They work hard but also know how to take pleasure from the outcome delivery procedure. They should just try to put their best effort to be chosen, as effort is the most important aspect of recruitment in Visa.
