Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

Within my role i do a variety of different jobs such as stacking shelves, doing reductions on things that need reducing, availability walks, running shifts with managers, doing the special buys and going on tills.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really love my programme as it opens a variety of different things to do at work, training to be a manager so learning about all the management side of things

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt a lot of different skills such as working under intense pressure, i have developed my customer service and team working skills.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

My programme is very well structured as i have a lifetime coach and they help me with my college side of things and then my store manager helps me with the shop floor side of things and they both communicate with eachother so they know how i am doing on both sides
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I get a lot of support from anyone within the business as they are always happy to help
me and show me anything that i am unsure about.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

She comes into the store every 6 weeks to speak to me about my apprenticeship and how i am doing and then emails me as well.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

it opens opportunities for me to be able to do things that the managers do and have a good insight on what they are doing and they show me then i try it so they have trust in me.

Need to make sure you are willing to be on your feet for long hours of the day.
