Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
As a Recruitment Business Partner, my role focuses on partnering with leaders across the business to deliver a strategic, efficient, and people‑centred recruitment service. Day‑to‑day, I act as a trusted advisor on hiring needs, providing insight, guidance, and end‑to‑end recruitment support.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I am really enjoying my Level 5 Management apprenticeship, and I feel it is adding a lot of value to both my personal development and my role. The programme strikes a good balance between theory and practical application, which helps me directly connect what I’m learning to my day‑to‑day work.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
Yes, I’ve learned several new skills and strengthened many existing ones through my Level 5 Management apprenticeship. I’ve developed greater confidence in leadership, communication, and decision‑making, and I now have a much better understanding of how to adapt my management style to different people and situations. My ability to plan, prioritise, and manage my workload has improved, especially while balancing study with day‑to‑day responsibilities. I’ve also enhanced my problem‑solving and critical thinking skills, and I’m now more effective at coaching others and supporting their development. Overall, the programme has helped me grow into a more capable, reflective, and proactive manager.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
Overall, my programme is well organised and structured, with a clear framework that outlines what I need to learn and how each module builds on the last. The combination of scheduled workshops, one‑to‑one coaching sessions, and independent study helps me stay on track and understand what is expected at each stage.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I receive a high level of support from my employer, which has made a big difference to my apprenticeship experience. My manager and colleagues are always willing to provide guidance, answer questions, and give me the time I need to focus on my learning. I feel encouraged to apply what I’m studying to my day‑to‑day role, and I’m given opportunities to develop my skills in a practical way. The ongoing support, regular check‑ins, and openness to feedback all help me stay motivated and confident throughout the programme.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
1/5
I feel that I receive good support from my training provider when I reach out, and I’m happy with the guidance and feedback I get during direct communication. However, I do find it challenging at times to liaise with them proactively, as the level of ongoing communication isn’t always consistent or easy to access. While the support itself is helpful and effective when it happens, more regular updates and clearer communication would make it easier for me to stay on track and feel fully connected to the programme.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
I feel that my qualification is helping me perform better in my role by giving me a deeper understanding of management principles and offering practical tools I can apply day‑to‑day. The modules support me in developing stronger leadership skills, improving communication, and making more informed decisions
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
Yes, there are extra‑curricular activities available at work, offering opportunities to get involved beyond my day‑to‑day role. These include social events, wellbeing initiatives, and occasional team‑building activities, which help bring colleagues together and strengthen relationships across the organisation.
