Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
In my role as a People Partner, I provide strategic and operational HR support to leaders and colleagues across the organisation. I act as a trusted advisor to managers, supporting them in effectively leading their teams, applying people policies fairly, and creating a positive employee experience.
My responsibilities include coaching managers on matters such as performance, attendance, conduct, wellbeing and engagement, ensuring that all actions align with the ACAS Code of Practice 2025, employment legislation, and CIPD professional standards. I support the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, development, organisational change, and employee relations.
I play a key role in analysing people data to identify trends, risks and opportunities and use these insights to inform decision‑making and continuous improvement. Collaboration is central to my role; I work closely with HR colleagues and operational teams to deliver consistent, equitable and evidence‑based people practices.
Overall, my role contributes to building a supportive, inclusive and high‑performing culture, ensuring colleagues feel valued and managers are confident in their leadership responsibilities.
