I am responsible for multiple sites, ensuring they are exceeding operational standards, in line with food safety compliance, following health and safety policies. Also, to ensure the management teams are supported and developing with their needs ; could be financial, people related.

Learnt lots of different ways / examples of how to tackle things through speaking to different people across my cohort. The knowledge i have learnt has also enabled me to further develop as a leader.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?

Extremely clear and well structured. The calendar was released way in advance, tutors are extremely helpful and responsive with regards to clarifying this also. The portal we use for the apprentice is also very clear and well set out.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My Employer are extremely understanding with my apprentice. I have dedicated time weekly during my working time to ensure I am up to date and completing my learning.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Lots of help from the module leads, apprentice director & my academic tutor. We have regular check ins and there is also a general email for any queries needed. All the information of who to contact is clear and everyone has been extremely helpful .
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I have only been doing this for six 5 months so far but I do feel as a leader I am learning a lot about myself and reflecting on how i lead. As a result, this is enabling me to be a better leader to my direct team and this is also filtering through to my managers and how they lead which is really nice to see.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Within the wider EGOTM organisation more are starting to be organised, my direct brand there isn't though.

Yes
Why?
People are nice, lots of opportunities and growth if the hard work is put in. All the brands have really good working relationships and the relationships between head office and the field teams are really strong.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to EG On The Move?
The opportunities are there for growth and progression, so long as youre ready to work. The business is fast paced and changing but you are always learning and developing
