Upskilling 35 managers in my unit and supporting them in people processes such as recruitment, managing employee relations, performance management, compliance, etc

I enjoy it a lot as I can see the benefit right away in my actual role.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Absolutely. So far, I developed skills in managers' upskilling, delivering change projects, challenging people related decisions. I also strengthened my analytical, reflective, and communication skills.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

I am given enough time to complete the required apprenticeship tasks and CIPD assignments. My line manager is supportive and provides me with exposure to projects supporting my apprenticeship.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

10/10 experience. My trainer is great. She is knowledgeable and flexible.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I really value seeing how the material we study gradually settles with me and then starts showing its relevance in my day-to-day work. It’s given me a broader understanding of how people practice plays a crucial role in business success, not just as a support function, but as a strategic partner. The apprenticeship has also strengthened my confidence when working with managers and contributing to people-focused decisions, while keeping ethics, fairness, and compliance at the heart of how I work.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes. There are sports competitions, charity fundraising events, etc.
