Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
I collaborate with amazing teammates who are always willing to share their knowledge, and that environment has helped me grow my confidence and independence so quickly. It’s a role where I’m encouraged to take ownership, ask questions, and keep stretching my skills and I genuinely love it.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
I feel like I truly belong here, and I’m proud to be part of a company that believes in me and invests in my future. This programme has opened doors, boosted my confidence, and made me excited for what’s ahead. It’s been an incredible experience.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
Some of the key skills I’ve developed include:
Data analysis: Working with real datasets, exploring trends, and understanding how data influences decisions.
Power BI & dashboarding: Improving reports, building visuals, and spotting inconsistencies in data.
Data quality & validation: Checking accuracy, tracking down discrepancies, and understanding how data flows through systems.
Python & SQL: Building confidence in writing queries, cleaning data, and solving technical problems.
Data pipelines & automation: Learning how data moves through the business and contributing to improvements.
Communication & teamwork: Presenting findings, working with different teams, and asking the right questions.
Time management & independence: Organising my workload, taking ownership of tasks, and becoming more self‑sufficient.
Every week I feel myself growing in confidence and capability — and it’s exciting to keep learning so much, so quickly. This programme has pushed me in the best way possible, and I’m proud of the skills I’ve gained so far.
Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?
How much support do you receive from your employer?
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
The structure of the programme is clear and engaging, and the learning materials are really high‑quality. I always feel like BPP wants me to succeed, and they make sure I have everything I need from online resources and workshops to one‑to‑one guidance when I need extra support.
What I love most is how approachable and responsive they are. No question ever feels too small, and they really understand what it’s like to balance study with a full‑time role. Their encouragement has helped me grow in confidence, stay motivated, and enjoy the journey of working towards my qualifications.
Overall, BPP has been amazing, and I feel genuinely supported every step of the way.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
