I am an apprentice engineer I work in all sectors around site (Lynher, Tamar, Site services) on a 3 month block. I shadow other engineers to learn from them to apply that skill for myself on a next job

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt lots as training days are provided where you are sent off on courses from pneumatics to hydraulic so you get to learn about lots of different media

Quite well organised. First year of this course so still things being sorted and arranged but is being sorted quite quickly

I have access to mostly anything I need. Everyone is very helpful and plenty of perks within the job

The units we learn about are very specific to college but the theory behind it is useful to know

Try to become internal within the business through entry jobs like working in production then working into the job you would like to go into
