To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I feel my apprenticeship has provided me with a wider understanding of the business I work for, and a deep understanding of ways of working, improving my working practices and building my confidence.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Time management skills have vastly improved, I have developed my communications skills and they are still improving. The growth in all areas of professionalism for myself has been huge, and still continuing

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

My apprenticeship has been managed amazingly, I have always been encouraged to ensure all the time I require for my apprenticeship is blocked in my calendar. I have been continually given exposure to new areas of responsibility in my role helping a holistic development of my skills.

How much support do you receive from your employer?

My line manager has been amazing from talking through assignments, prepping for EPA with mocks. But most importantly ensuring I have everything I need to carry out my job, and ensuring my over all well being considered too. They have given me many opportunities to stretch and challenge my skill set and develop in areas where needed.

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My training provider, provided regular touchpoints. From quarterly reviews, to regular learning sessions on line and in person. I was able to reach out in between for any additional support or guidance. Even scheduled additional sessions for EPA mocks

How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I feel the apprenticeship has given me a deeper understanding of the inner working of business, helping me understand how important the work I do helps fill skills gaps and develop the workforce. I believe that this understanding has help me approach my work in the right way, I have developed my communication skills - empowering me to confidently with the skills I need.

Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

I have been given many opportunities out side of my usual workday, from attending award ceremonies and celebrations events - exposing me to get networking opportunities.

Why?

I feel I have been supported extremely well following a prolonged period out or the work place. I couldn't have been more supported, the opportunities I have been given and further opportunities available to me to develop my career further.
