Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Typically my day to day job consists of reporting for the business depending on what the business needs. For example I am currently working on a sales report that can be broken down by things like sales channel, couriers used, domestic, full/ sample orders etc. As well as this I also undertake light IT duties such as providing support to staff and keeping things right on the system.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
I really enjoy my programme. The apprenticeship itself was very very beneficial - I really like the way the learning is structured with the couple day block getting the training then spending the next couple weeks filling in the knowledge workbooks to further reinforce the knowledge. As well as this, I think the business within which I work is an exceptional fit for me both socially and in terms of my career.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I would say about 99% of what I have learnt throughout the duration of my time on this course has been new information/ skills. My knowledge regarding IT and data in general was extremely limited prior to me starting this role.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
I really like the way the programme is structured. You have a two day learning block every month or so in which training is delivered to you and other learners. Off the back of this course, learners would be set a knowledge workbook that they fill in to further reinforce what was taught during the course. As well as this, there is also projects to complete throughout the course of the programme that contribute as part of your portfolio.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I don't typically ask for much support from my employer but they have done absolutely everything I could have asked for - they have been great with me.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
I receive exceptional support from Baltic in regards to working towards my qualifications. I failed my assessment method 2 the first time I sat it and Baltic put together a 3 week action plan in order to get me confident for the re sit. I passed with a distinction.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
I am not sure I fully understand this question
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
2/5
I don't think so. Not that I am aware of.
