Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

My role is to manage and prioritize the porters' work. Organise their shifts and authorise vacations, check attendance. Monitor training dates and ensure that all training is completed on time and not expired. Conduct research if requested and pass information to higher levels for further investigation.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I like my program 100% and I want to continue to have the opportunity to climb the career ladder.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I learned how to manage a team, organize work, and conduct investigations. I also gained experience conducting interviews and selecting suitable candidates for roles. I learned how to communicate effectively with employees at all levels.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The program is quite well structured, there are assigned tutors who help and explain things in the easiest way possible. Also, there is a Manager assigned to you throughout the course who helps and accompanies you throughout the training. My Manager was extremely patient and instructive, who was able to explain everything to me in a way that I understood and showed that I already knew all this and had done it even before the course.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The training team members were very nice and I received help with all the necessary questions, my tutor was quite good, but there were times when it was impossible to get an answer from him and I had to keep sending emails with the same questions over and over again until I got an answer.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

I recommend this course to everyone who works in this field and gain all the necessary knowledge to perform their job flawlessly, conveniently, and it gives an opportunity for career advancement.

Would you recommend Compass group to a friend?

Why?
Absolutely, without a doubt. I have been working at compass-group since 2017 and I am proud of it, my team is fantastic and I couldn't ask for a better management. I would recommend working in the porter department to everyone, although sometimes it can be hard physical and sometimes psychological work. Our team is one big family, so it is a pleasure to go to work.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Compass group?
Always be sincere, don't lie during interviews about your experience, answer questions honestly and be a team player.
