We clean the coffee machines, empty dishwasher, stock printers, refill staplers, fetch milk, respond to emails, oversee repairs, report repairs, host contractors, manage room bookings, distribute mail, empty bins, manage PPE stores, oversee cleaners, order stock for cleaning and office, arrange first aid and fire marshal courses, move furniture, manage and audit lockers, liaise with client and much more...

Management didn't have much time spare to help. Brought my own laptop as work laptop restricted and couldn't access the online classes through it, business response was too slow given the course had started.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

They did their best to explain what was required and the course content provided generally covered what was requested.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Most of it I was already doing and some isn't expected of me yet, so has given me insight to future roles

Steady work and interesting if the right role found. As it's a large company can move around within the company.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Compass group?
Attach a CV. Having recently been recruiting it's shocking how many applicants don't.
