Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
A variety of design tasks including CAD, animation, sketching, brainstorming and research. Working to briefs set by the team and eventually presenting to head office
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
High level of responsibility, were treated exactly like any other member of the team and often supported large projects, being soley responsible for single aspects of the process

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
My team and other coworkers were very welcoming and social, and i found it easy to talk to anyone in my office. It is very high paced and can be tough at times, but hard work is often rewarded and managers are highly supportive.

What advice would you give to others applying to Samsung Electronics
Make sure you are able to talk through your portfolio and are genuinly enthusiastic about working at the company. Be prepared to work on many varied roles that you may not have done and dont be afraid to ask questions.
