Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

It was a varied role, procurement tasks, customer facing mornings, arranging meetings, circulating agendas and actions, to provide administrative support for the National Jobs and Training Team by taking ownership of central administrative processes and some marketing tasks.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoyed completing my apprenticeship thoroughly, it was a very varied role, including procurement and administrative tasks, partly customer facing. I was involved with some great projects.
Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

My customer facing skills definitely improved by mixing with customers more often, speaking to them and helping them, as well as my over the phone skills too. I developed my digital skills hugely, especially working on Excel with spreadsheets. My organizational skills developed well with arrangements and there was room for creativity which was great for me too.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

It has a good structure, having an online platform to see how teams and staff are connected is useful on Workday, that really helped me throughout.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I had a great support system around me. my Training provider and the apprenticeship team. they were very encouraging and easy to reach for any questions and queries.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Access Training were brilliant, I would have calls with my training provider twice a month to delegate tasks and see how I'm getting on. My training provider was brilliant, easy to contact and encouraging.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

My qualification and the activities I were to do, correlated perfectly in my role and helped me in my job position greatly with course work and real life working.

Be yourself, apply transferrable skills and get into t he office as you will meet people and that has helped me alot, knowing different people in different areas of the business.
