Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
Leading and supporting on procurements. Keeping internal records up-to-date. Studying for Level 4 CIPS qualification.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
A fantastic opportunity. Lots to learn and chances to progress. Well supported. I feel very lucky.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I had no background in procurement so have learnt lots of new skills, and still learning!

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
The apprenticeship provider, Cordie Ltd, have been fantastic. The internal support from colleagues and managers has been amazing. I couldn't have asked for better.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
Colleagues and managers are fantastic. They honour the 1 day per week study time and have been supportive when I have needed extra. They celebrate my successes (when I pass exams). Lots of opportunities for shadowing and 1-2-1 support. I started the scheme straight after maternity leave, which was daunting, but I have been supported every step of the way.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
They are extremely well qualified and have provided excellent training materials to use for our exams. They are super supportive and mark mock papers outside of the guided hours. They have streamlined the process as much as possible so it isn't overly administrative.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
Really useful background knowledge and helped me feel more confident to carry out the role. Inspired me to consider completing the higher level qualifications afterwards.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
5/5
There are lots of extra-curricular events/clubs on at my local office, sports/social etc and many professional networking opportunities eg mentoring, social mobility workshops, apprenticeship specific workshops.
