The Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP open day gave us a clear introduction to the firm and its practice areas. We met several lawyers of the firm online over the course of the day, with ample time set aside for questions after every event. The open day ended with a team exercise where we worked in groups of three or more, preparing sides of a discussion on workplace surveillance.

The event was extremely well organised. Every session began on time and spare time was incorporated thoughtfully throughout. All materials, including an agenda of the day, were sent out by the Graduate Recruitment team well in advance of the event.

I gained valuable application advice from a "tips and tricks" session led by graduate recruitment. The open Q&A for all participants that followed was especially helpful too.

Despite the remote nature of the open day, we had ample chance to interact with employees. For example, during the team exercise, Gibson Dunn lawyers were present, ready to help us prepare our side of the discussion.
