Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

as an apprentice project assistant, i support my team with any upcoming projects or training. this includes marketing, financial and admin duties on a day to day basis. since my team is a customer focused team, this also means interacting with customers and guiding them in the process of seeking business start up, financial and advisory help.

i enjoy it because it includes a range of various tasks that build my skill set and keeps the role interesting and unique.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

i receive great support from my line manager through monthly 1-2-1's and being able to reach out at any time for assistance. there is also a lot of support through the apprenticeship in terms of career progression they constantly help you to make wise decisions about your course and offer advice with lots of help from the training providers
How much support do you receive from your employer?

great support through quarterly reviews and support from the apprenticeship development team that i can go to if i have any concerns as they also help with progression support into permanent employment. we also have apprenticeship unwrapped events that give us a chance to connect with other apprentices and develop team building skills, all in all supporting our progression within clarion
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

bi monthly meeting with my tutor who is really supportive when is comes to feedback on assignments and any worries and troubles i may have. they also check up on me mentally to make sure i am still enjoying the apprenticeship and it is not overwhelming. my tutor is also great at finding new ways to keep the workload interesting and exciting which helps me to complete it in the long run.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

doing the business admin apprenticeship goes hand in hand with my role as each assignment and learning pack allows me to write down what I've learnt giving me a clearer picture of what is included in my role. i also gain new information i can pass on to me team if i deem it relevant but also for personal development and better insight.

its a great company where everyone is really supportive and friendly. you gain insight into the hosing market and are able to connect with a wide range of people from all walks of life. you never feel singled out and there is always someone you can go to in case of anything.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Clarion Housing Group?
Be your authentic self and don't feel like you have to blend in seamlessly with the housing image as a new perspective is more than valued and listened to. try your best to put your best foot forward and be willing to learn a lot.
