Overall, how would you describe your experience at Mott MacDonald?
Really good to work for (I still work there), great people and great projects to work on.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
Designing various civil engineering structures such as platforms for stations, ancillary civils structures, as well as high level design.
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

I get plenty of freedom to design, and then it gets checked and approved.
How does your compensation package - including perks & benefits - fairly remunerate you for the work you do?

On top of the salary (which has increased from the one posted here), we also get private healthcare, a good amount of leave, and many paid-for socials like Sports Day, theme parks, bar tabs, etc.
How well do you feel the role is preparing you for your future career?

I'm going to stay here for the forseable future.
How would you rate the extent to which you were developing new or existing skills through formal training and your day-to-day role?

We are encouraged to go through the chartership process, and day to day I'm always learning new things.

What is the organisational culture, values and general atmosphere like?

Really inclusive and positive atmosphere. Hybrid working policy: For our division it is encouraged to be in the office 3 days a week, for some other divisions it is compulsory. I go into the office almost everyday anyway.

There are many volunteering/community initiatives. There's a lot to do with getting kids involved in STEM, such as going into schools, miniBRUM, and work experience weeks which I've helped on.
