Overall, how would you describe your experience at Mott MacDonald?
My experience at Mott MacDonald has been excellent. There is so much opportunity for growth within the company, and it’s a very sociable environment with regular events. Everyone is extremely friendly and supportive, which makes it a great place to work.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
Main Responsibilities of My Role:
Design and Analysis: Preparing technical documents, performing structural and hydraulic calculations for dams and reservoirs.
Site Visits: Inspecting construction progress, assessing conditions, and ensuring compliance with design specifications.
Documentation: Producing reports, drawings, and specifications for projects.
Collaboration: Working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe and sustainable solutions.
What I Enjoy Most:
Visiting sites and seeing how designs come to life in the real world.
Solving complex engineering problems through calculations and design work.
The variety of tasks-every project is different, which keeps the role interesting and challenging.
