Overall, how would you describe your experience at Mott MacDonald?
Working at Mott MacDonald has been a truly positive experience. From the very beginning, I’ve felt supported and valued as part of the team. The collaborative environment makes it easy to learn and grow, and there’s always someone willing to offer guidance when needed. My colleagues go out of their way to ensure I’m looked after, creating a workplace that feels both professional and welcoming. This strong sense of teamwork has helped me develop my skills and confidence, and I’m proud to be part of a company that genuinely cares about its people.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
As a Graduate Civil Engineer, my main responsibilities include assisting with the design and delivery of civil engineering projects, preparing technical drawings and reports, and supporting site inspections to ensure compliance with standards. I also contribute to problem-solving and collaborate closely with senior engineers to develop practical solutions.
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

I have because a key part of my team helping where I can. In return they keep giving me the opportunities to grow and develop.

They look after me very well and have my benefits including money set aside for each employee for a varsity of the things.

Constantly learning new items and developing skills throughout. I do feel like this can vary depending what team you are in.

Working from home is allowed but I personally prefer going into the office each day and I benefit more by being in.
