Audit assistant Review

Assist with more mechanical tasks. Mostly meeting clients, asking them for information and perform some tests on that information.
Most times dealing with 2 o 3 different clients at the same time.

Enough. I like having more responsibilities than only performing mechanical tasks. I had to speak to clients ,requesting information or even pushing back if more was needed from them. I was responsible for certain areas and I had to give feedback on how I am dealing with it and how gmfar from completion.

Develop existing skills such as critical thinking, time management and teamwork.
Develop new ones such as having a more professional attitude and language towards clients. Self reliance was another new skill, being able to trust yourself even when you do not really know what you are doing.

Lots! Training was constant. First 2 months was all about training before I could do much. I was sent to different cities to receive specific trainings too.
Monthly workshops were performed in the office. They would be about different areas or topics where improvement would be needed.
Managers and line manager always asking for feedback, personal and professional, so I never felt abandoned or not supported.

Office was open plan, so that says a lot. As an employee you are meant to ask as many questions as you need, and collaboration and efficiency are key. Employees were really kind and always supportive. The environment is relaxed in a sense that you don’t feel any stress on a daily basis, even when everyone is stressed.

I loved it! I met and worked with wonderful people who made my journey sommuch easier and enjoyable.
I obtained a job out of it, so I cannot wait to go back to it.
In terms of expectations (question at the bottom) I am rating low because I was expecting something way more formal, serious and boring and it was completely the opposite.
