Support and Guidance

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

Minimal in being taught the actual job, I had to reach out to other members of the team throughout the internship as the onboarding process lacked sufficient teaching. Once I reached out, the support was beneficial. My initial manager provided minimal support, however, in the last month my final manager was very helpful.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

For the majority of the internship I was alienated by my line managers team and made to feel unwelcome on the whole. However, the other team I was aligned to was very welcoming. This team however was not in my office so I was not able to engage with them as much as I would have liked to.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I enjoyed learning new skills and engaging with the other interns. However, the treatment by my initial team was not favorable and tainted my experience.
