🔹 Supported students with CVs, interviews, and job applications through one-to-one guidance and peer mentoring
🔹 Promote events and services across campus, ranges from social media and cold calling promotions
🔹 Collect and present student feedback to the Careers Team and senior staff, offering solutions to improve engagement
🔹 Utilising state of the art tools like VR headsets and online psychometric testings to support students with immersive interview/ recruitment experience

There were definietly a few responsibilities that fell on to us at an ad hoc basis. It could involve getting into marketing porposes to assisting on events that involved employers.
That being said, our core focus is and always has been to ensure that every sutdent who seek for help career assistance would awlasy have full support from us at every engle (i.e cv advice, interview preps, job applications, experience building, etc)

Too many to count.. some of the most important ones involved confidence, interpersonal and professional etiquette.

As long as I asked. Never once have I felt that it was a bad time to ask questions. The staff and teams that I worked with in the careers team were always open to new ideas and questions.

Very inviting and accomodating to your personal issues and or preferences. Never thought for once I was not included.

I enjoyed it a lot as I got to not only boost my own knowledge on the job market, but also had so many opporutnties to grow my other skills (i.e. social media marketing and running sessions).
