My experience at Samsung Electronics has been very rewarding, I have been trusted with major responsibilities, such as leading projects from the start of my graduate scheme. It has helped me grow quickly in a fast-paced environment where no day is the same and I am constantly learning each day. The people are a massive strength for Samsung, they are supportive and genuinely care about your future career. Overall, it is a fantastic place to work and I'd thoroughly recommend it to any new graduate looking to develop a strong skill set and build a successful career.

As a product manager on the Samsung Wallet, I am responsible for not only improving the product through new features and enhancements but also tracking the performance and setting the strategic direction for all 11 European markets that are live with Samsung Wallet. I enjoy working with multiple stakeholders across teams and markets, and its rewarding to see the tangible benefits of my work such as increased user engagement.

The support you receive at Samsung is key to your development and well-being, I have weekly 1:1s with my line manager and in this I can stress any worries or doubts I have. The emerging talent team is always on hand to support & answer any questions.

As Samsung is such a fast-paced environment and large business, there are busier times than usual so more can be expected of you, however, my team are always aware of work-life balance and my line manager has always been extremely accommodating with any personal requests.

Samsung has a good culture and the office is always busy, the hybrid working structure works extremely well to balance the busy days.

I would definitely recommend this role to a friend because it's incredibly rewarding - in terms of personal growth and financially. The feedback and recognition from managers and senior leaders make you feel valued and motivated to keep improving. The large responsibilities you are given mean you feel like you are constantly learning and never find the repetitive or mundane. Finally, it's pretty exciting to work for the 5th largest brand in the world!

I would say it has actually exceeded my expectations, I am doing a lot more than I thought I would.
