Overall, how would you describe your experience at JLR?
Very good with a lot of support from all collegues.
One of the best aspects of the graduate scheme is the opportunity and flexibility with the placement period. Being able to transfer to any area of the business you like, for as long or as short as you like.
It gives a very well rounded vision of the business as a whole.

What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
I have been responsible for body structure design, competitor benchmarking. Working on offcycle research projects for future design rules.
In my placements I have looked into procurement, manufacturing engineering, prototype launch engineering and durability testing.

Very good team spirit, with all going above and beyond to make me feel comfortable.

Very good pension scheme, with a variety of other benefits, though I mostly don't make use of them.
How well do you feel the role is preparing you for your future career?

Very well, learning a lot about the company and the industry. None of this information I had before joining, so it is fairly essential background knowledge to have before rolling off into my permanent contract role.

Formal training takes place at least once every couple weeks on varied topics to do directly with my role or surrounding matters.
