Overview of the Role

Overall, how would you describe your experience at JLR?

Very positive, the recruitment process was incredibly straight forward, I've not come straight form university so have had poor experiences before. There was lots of support and always someone there to answer questions. Working with different teams has been an exciting and interesting experience and I've learnt a lot so far.

What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?

Different rotations and different responsibilities depending on what projects you are assigned to on each of these. All have had challenging aspects which have provided opportunities to learn from members of the team. Responsibilities vary depending on rotation but I have felt supported in each.

To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?

I would say I have experienced a lot of opportunity to contribute meaningfully where I feel my skills allow me to. It is down to the individual on how much they'd like to contribute.

This has been an incredibly welcoming company to work for, for such a large organisation, I have been shocked to find so many people/ teams keen to support and encourage me.

Why?

I have felt supported, learnt a lot, felt valued and although there have been challenging times and times I've had to make sure I've understood what is needed from me, and set aide time for personal development, I have felt there are people I can reach out to for support. I would absolutely recommend JLR.
