Overall, how would you describe your experience at JLR?
Excellent experience with SME. The chance to rotate around the business areas allowed for max exposure to all of JLRs areas and it's markets.
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
Across four roles you gained a variety of different job responsibilities, those that allowed me to lead a project from start to finish were highly valued and where my unique perspective as a young person was championed.

the first year we were given a full development course, with a personality insight quiz it allowed us to pin point strengths and weaknesses.

Line managers here are amazing, they are especially selected for their abilities to mentor you and guide you through your two years. You have a placement manager who looks after you for the full schemes.
How is your work-life balance?

We get early finishes on friday which I love! There is a distinct focus on people here, which allows you to create your own work/life schedule - which again makes me feel very valued.
What is the organisational culture, values and general atmosphere like?

There's no other place I've worked for that give so much back to their people. Everyone here is united in a mission to do incredible things.

Plenty of volunteering opportunities, all of which you are paid for as you get an annual time off to volunteer.

Why?
The organisation has so much emphasis on people it allows you to create a positive learning & working environment. This coupled with a strong grad network is a positive place to start the world of work.
How well did the role match your expectations based on the recruitment process?

We were talked to about all the opportunities on the recruitment banner, notably the opportunities to go abroad.
When considering the recruitment & onboarding process, have you any specific tips or advice you would give to others applying to JLR?
Make sure you look at the creators code, they are always wanting to interview people who can demonstrate an authentic version of these values in your everyday life.
Make sure you're confident in what YOU can offer to them, don't concentrate too much on the reverse.
