Overview of the Role
Overall, how would you describe your experience at JLR?
What are the main responsibilities of the role and which elements of the role do you enjoy the most?
i did a lot of physical testing with actual cars and i did a lot of virtual testing.
i did a research placement where we develop future cars.
i did a lot of integration on complex rig systems that simulate vehicles.
i enjoyed all of it as the people in all of the roles were all very friendly and smart.
To what extent does your role give you the opportunity to contribute meaningfully and feel valued by your team?
The collaborative culture here is outstanding. Whether it's brainstorming solutions, working on integration challenges, or supporting cross-functional teams, I’m consistently encouraged to share ideas and take initiative. My colleagues and mentors are incredibly supportive, and they make a real effort to recognize contributions, no matter how big or small.
It’s empowering to know that the work I do plays a part in shaping the future of mobility. Being trusted with responsibilities and seeing the impact of my efforts — even as a graduate — makes me feel both appreciated and motivated to grow further.
